Eric Carle week...

The Wacky Wobblers did a whole week of activities for author of the month...We picked Eric Carle because our kids LOVE all his books...here are some of the art work we did..

For "The Very Busy Spider" we glued spider web on black paper and for the spider the children painted with the color green on red paper.

We painted with white paint on blue paper to create "Little Cloud".

The chameleons were made by painting with water colors.

The children made red  ladybug footprints for the book "The Grouchy Ladybug". We then added the black dots and legs.
The Brown Bears were done by painting with dark brown paint on light brown paper.

"The Very Hungry Caterpillar" was made by painting on plates with forks.  For the lollipops we did "marble painting" with blue paint on yellow paper.  The pickles were made by painting with green paint combined with sand for the texture.  We glued black "seeds" on the watermelons and painting with brown paint for the cakes.  The cheese was done by dipping the a bottle cap into the white paint and then on the yellow paper.
